Mud Valves

Robust shutoff valves specifically designed for severe service

Anson Mud Manifold
Description

Our purpose-made Anson™ mud gate valves are suitable for the toughest demands of abrasive drilling mud service. We provide complete mud pumps and standpipe manifolds.

We offer two models of these easy-to-operate and simple-to-maintain valves—MV50 (suitable for up to 5,000-psi maximum working pressure) and MV75 (suitable for up to 7,500-psi maximum working pressure).

MV50

  • Available with various connections including butt weld, flange, hub, or Anson hammer union
  • Molded, one-piece (boot) seat design particularly suited for abrasive service and applications where valve contamination by line fluid sediment is an issue
  • Nitride hardened stainless steel gate as standard

MV75: Suitable for a maximum working pressure of 7,500 PSI

  • Available with various connections including butt weld, flange, hub, or Anson hammer union
  • One-piece, ‘disc type’ gate and seat design:
    • Suspended stainless steel discs molded with rubber, designed to dampen pulsation effect from mud pumps and extend the life of the valve
    • Repeatable high- and low-pressure sealing; capable of passing the most stringent testing for this type of valve in the industry.
  • Nitride hardened stainless steel gate as standard
  • Cavity-less body design limits ingress of contaminants
  • Highly qualified valve tested for repeatable low- and high-pressure sealing capability with both liquid and gas.
