MISSION™ Magnum I pumps have a longstanding history as reliable, heavy-duty slurry pumps. The 3×2×13 through 8×6×14 pumps feature the same power end, which ensures production and reduced spare-part inventory requirements. Standard models are equipped with a heavy-duty 2½-in. alloy steel shaft protected from wear by a stainless-steel shaft sleeve, double-row outboard bearings, and inboard roller bearings.
Magnum I pumps are rated for continuous service in applications up to 200 hp and are available in hard iron, stainless steel, aluminum bronze, and high chrome with capacities up to 3,400 gal/min and pressure head up to 550 ft. Some sizes are offered with a counterclockwise rotation giving the user more flexibility.
Other Features Include:
- Open impeller design to lower axial thrust load and equipped with impeller retention bolt to eliminate damage in a reverse run
- Lip seals and exclusion seals to retain lubricants and protect bearings from external contamination
- Offered with mechanical seal or packed option
- Available in hard iron, aluminum bronze, high chrome, and stainless steel to accommodate a variety of applications.
- Single piece casing
(Note: Oil lubrication for bearings available upon request and recommended for pump speeds in excess of 2400 RPM.)
