Description

High-Quality Materials and Engineering

We design and manufacture a range of structural Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) products and solutions for subsea applications using high-quality vinylester and isophthalic polyester resins, reinforced with continuous strand woven E-Glass reinforcements. Our FRP laminates are engineered to maintain performance integrity over many years of immersion subsea and have been extensively tested in both laboratory and service environments. Our unique FRP subsea aging test data allows us to efficiently design products while providing assurance of uninterrupted performance throughout the specified service life.

Weight and Corrosion Resistance Benefits

FRP offers substantial CAPEX and OPEX savings in subsea applications. Bondstrand™ FRP structures weigh just one-third of steel in air and one-sixth when submerged. Unlike metals, FRP requires no cathodic protection, significantly reducing costs associated with anodes and paint systems.

Expert Design and Manufacturing Capabilities

Our engineering team specializes in FRP structure design and offers comprehensive services, including concept design, analysis, detailed design, and fabrication. Using the latest 3D CAD systems, we seamlessly integrate our solutions into clients' primary CAD models, ensuring our FRP solutions meet their exact requirements.

Our experienced design team employs cutting-edge analysis and advanced resin infusion techniques, guaranteeing high performance and stringent quality control in all FRP fabrications. Our manufacturing facility boasts one of the industry’s largest CNC installations, capable of machining and tooling fabrications up to 30 meters long by 5 meters wide. This ensures fast and accurate manufacturing every time.
