A natural leader, Megan knows that the best results come when you challenge people. By combining her passion for people with her drive for success, she’s inspiring strategic change within HR.

Megan is not one to let others pass her up in a race.

Once a qualifier for the Boston Marathon, Megan approaches her personal and professional life with the same tenacity and determination that she invokes when running.

After she graduated from Texas A&M University in just 3 years, Megan was hired to work in Human Resources (HR) at Artex, a wireline trucks and drilling tools manufacturer. While there, she obtained her master’s degree in industrial organizational psychology and was promoted to HR manager. She also built key relationships with her coworkers on the shop floor, which helped her see first-hand that “the manufacturing or shop floor employees are the bread and butter of our business.”

After NOV acquired Artex, Megan was soon promoted to HR director within our Completion & Production Solutions business segment.

At NOV, you can make it your own canvas. You have free reign to make things better according to what's best for your business unit at that time, and no one is really micro-managing.

For Megan, the best part of her job is influencing change and developing people. “Don’t be afraid to push the limits,” she’ll tell you. “That’s where growth happens.”

And that includes pushing her own limits. With her runner’s eye always looking toward the end goal, Megan hopes to leverage her role in HR services to drive strategic change for NOV.
