Insertable PC Pump System
Our innovative insertable progressing cavity (PC) pump design allows our customers to insert a PC pump inside the production tubing and pressure test the tubing string with one easy-to-use tool.
Our innovative insertable PC pump design enables you to insert a PC pump inside production tubing sizes from 2⅞ to 5½ in. and is available in both a Single Run and Double Run design. The Single Run design can be factory-configured as a flushable or nonflushable system, while the Double Run design is always flushable and allows for the primary seal to be pressure tested during installation.
Features and Benefits
- No need for a service rig to pull the production tubing to change a downhole pump
- Pump changes can be done with a flush-by equipped for rod handling
- Minimizes the need to remove production tubing, reducing the cost of downhole gauge installations
- Allows for pressure testing the production tubing as well as the primary seal while inserting the stator (Double Run System only)
- Able to use any PC pump without performing any modification that increases install options
- Can pull the rotor out of the wellbore without unseating the primary seal when using the Double Run and Single Run flushable systems
- Systems are available to fit inside 2⅞-, 3½-, 4½-, and 5½-in. production tubing.
Standard API seating nipple fittings
The insert pump seating mandrel fits the following standard API seating nipples:
- 3.500-in. API seating nipple with 2.780-in. seat
- 2.875-in. API seating nipple with 2.280-in. seat
Non-standard API seating nipple fittings
The insert pump seating mandrel also fits the following non-API seating nipples:
- 5.500-in. seating nipple with 4.625-in. seat
- 4.500-in. seating nipple with 3.810-in. seat
- 3.500-in. seating nipple with 2.831-in. ID
- 2.875-in. seating nipple with 2.325-in. ID
