User Agreement
The user ("User") acknowledges and agrees that the Performance Calculator (the "Site") is provided to User as a courtesy, free of charge to User, subject to the terms of this User Agreement.
User acknowledges that the technical information contained herein, including the product performance sheets and other information, is for reference only and shall not be construed as a recommendation or technical advice. User is fully responsible for the accuracy and suitability of his or her use of the information provided by the Site, and NOV Grant Prideco™ ("Grant Prideco") does not assume any responsibility for the results obtained through the use of this Site. No express or implied warrantee is intended by Grant Prideco and is hereby disclaimed, including the warranty of merchantability and fitness for purpose. By using this Site, User agrees to release Grant Prideco from any liability arising from or related to User's use of this Site and further agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Grant Prideco harmless from any claims arising from or related to User's use of this Site.
Warning: Drill pipe assembly properties are calculated based on uniform outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness. No safety factor is applied. The information provided for various inspection classes and for various wear conditions (remaining body wall) is for information only and does not represent or imply acceptable operating limits. It is the responsibility of the User and the end user of the ultimate product to determine the appropriate performance ratings and acceptable use of the product, maintain safe operational practices, and apply a prudent safety factor suitable for the application. For API connections that have different pin and box ODs, tool joint inside diameter (ID) refers to the pin ID. Per Chapter B, Section 4 VII of the IADC drilling manual, it is recommended that drilling torque should not exceed 80% of makeup torque (MUT).
