    Description

    Service Master™ Blue Thunder valve
    Our new, innovative premium fully bonded or optional snap-on lines of well service valves employ a proprietary polyurethane insert with unprecedented wear characteristics. Numerous field tests have shown these valves provide their users up to three times the life of competitors’ offerings while operating in the toughest shale plays in the world. Our Blue Thunder valve is designed to handle event th ehighest amount of solid contents.

    • Forged high-strength alloy steel body, engineered toughness, and superior geometry gives unparalleled performance in the most punishing hydraulic fracturing conditions, such as pumping high-strength ceramic proppants or sintered bauxite at pressures up to 20,000 psi.
    • One-piece, full open-type valve designed for maximum flow characteristics
    • Proprietary polyurethane insert with exceptional wear characteristics results in fewer replacements, longer run times, and reduced costs per pumping hour.
    • Maximum temperature rating of 180°F (82° C)

    Service Master II valve
    Service Master II well service valves and seats are the industry standard for pumping well-fracturing media, from sand to manmade resin-coated proppants.

    • Forged high-strength alloy steel body, engineered toughness, and superior geometry gives unparalleled performance in the most punishing hydraulic fracturing conditions, such as pumping high-strength ceramic proppants or sintered bauxite at pressures up to 20,000 psi
    • One-piece, full open-type valve designed for maximum flow characteristics
    • Features a premium fully-bonded polyurethane insert as standard
    • Not merely molded or cast in place, fully-bonded inserts have proven to be the most reliable method of preventing insert twist and fluid migration leading to longer run times and lower total cost of ownership
    • Replaceable snap-on insert versions are available as an option
    Rupture disc valves
    To protect pump fluid ends and high-pressure flowline equipment from overpressure situations due to proppant buildup or human error, Service Master II valves of either insert style can be provided with a rupture disc. When rupture disc valves are installed as the suction valve on a frac pump and an overpressure situation is met, the rupture disc will burst. This diverts newly-pumped fluid back to the low-pressure lines, helping to prevent damage to equipment and injury to personnel.
     
    Available in safety head pressures of 10,000, 15,000, and 22,500 psi. Other pressures are available upon request.

    Roughneck
    Roughneck valves and seats have an extreme pressure well service valve design, one-piece cast unibody construction valve body allowing greater flow area, reduced abrasion and reduced fluid velocity. The one-piece valve body for superior strength results in fewer replacements, longer run times, and reduced cost per pumping hour.
